If your iSpring WSP spin-down sediment filter is installed where its clear housing receives sunlight—from a nearby window, open doorway, or other light-exposed location—the transparent sump allows that light to reach the water and internal surfaces. Given enough light and suitable water conditions, green growth can develop inside the housing, making maintenance messier and inspection more difficult.

Our custom-engineered Filter Cover is designed for the standard-size iSpring WSP and WSP-SL housing. Its opaque black shell helps keep direct light off the clear sump, while the hinged design and quick-release latch make it easy to open for inspection, flushing, and routine cleaning.

Precision Fit for the Standard WSP Housing

This is not a loose sleeve or improvised wrap. The cover is shaped around the compact 3.5-inch-wide standard WSP/WSP-SL housing, providing fitted coverage below the brass filter head while preserving routine access to the system.

Compatible Filter Models

Fits these standard-size iSpring spin-down filters:

• WSP-50, WSP-100, WSP-200, WSP-500, and WSP-1000

• WSP-50SL, WSP-100SL, WSP-200SL, WSP-500SL, and WSP-1000SL

It also fits the same standard filter bodies when sold in iSpring fitting bundles or WSP2PK15 and WSP2PK21 multipacks. One cover is required for each filter.

Algae and other light-related green growth require light. By shading the clear housing, the cover helps reduce one of the conditions that can encourage growth inside a light-exposed sediment filter. It supplements regular flushing and cleaning—it does not replace them.
